Brocade is a fabric made from natural threads and it has been used for a dress to Queen Elizabeth II in her weeding at 1953.

This is a lovely, modernly narrow tie with quality craftsmanship. One star off because the selling images don’t capture just how much bright metallic gold thread the tie is woven with, and that makes the accessory more suitable for very special occasions and not what I was planning as a common-usage sort of gift. It is not subtle in person. In some lighting, this tie is ready for the disco. I’m keeping it to give anyway, because the tie is unlike any other my husband has, and can elevate a basic broadcloth shirt into something appropriate for wedding guest attire.
