* Characteristics - Large vine, climbs by tendrils and winding. Great to cover a fence or unsightly structure. Flowers on new wood so can be cut back to shape in winter. Deciduous in freezing weather.
* Special Features - Fragrant and showy. Attracts butterflies, bees and birds.
* Germination - Soak seeds in warm water for 2 days, changing water at least once. This will help wash away natural germination inhibitors. Germinates at 70-75 degrees, so either on a heat mat, in the spring greenhouse, or outdoors once the weather gets warm enough. Plant the seeds 1/4-1/2 inch deep and keep moist. Germination takes 28 to 90 days.

I've seen someone recommend using nail clippers sterilized with Hydrogen Peroxide to gently break the edge of the seed open to allow moisture to touch the embryo for sprouting
