Where does this store ship from?

324 E. Ruehl Street, Forsyth, IL 62535 We are about middle of the state – 45 minutes from the capital, Springfield, and about 3 hours south of Chicago, east of St. Louis, and southwest of Indianapolis.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 7 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 6 weeks. We do NOT exert any control over any postal system in our nation or yours.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Residents of the state of Illinois will be charged sales tax. The rate for our business location is 8.75% and is subject to change based on state and local laws. If your state or nation outside of Illinois requires tax to be collected, Etsy does that and submits it to the proper office(s).

Do I really get a human when I call The Fabric Cobbler?

Absolutely! Shop hours are 12 noon to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday through Saturday my shop is open 9 a.m. to. 4 p.m. These times are CST. If I don't answer, just try me again later. I may be with a local customer or on the phone with another online client if I don't answer. The shop phone is 217-330-9110.

Shipping charges add up. Can I get free shipping if I order large quantities?

USPS raised their prices twice a year every year for the past six years and I never raised mine to accommodate which means I have been paying part of every customer's shipping for 6 straight years. Add that to increased Etsy fees AND tariffs, I must transition my shop from shipping being partially factored into pricing (and me paying the balance) to clients paying the shipping at checkout. With over 5,000 listings, this is going to take a great deal of time to accomplish in the shop. I have to add weight and dimensions for the highest cut in the listing to the listing settings manually as there is no batch edit for that. Next, I have to edit shipping settings for each listing, which can be done on a batch feature BUT there's little point if
