You’ll receive le paper pre-marked ready to fold and the instructions to guide you.
To make this lampshade you don’t need any particular experience or knowledge of origami technique. You don’t need any additional materials nether (no glue, no scissors).
The electric compounds (ceiling cable or switch/plug cable) are optional.
MATERIAL
Hanahi lampshade is made of PAPER. High-quality paper, free of acids, produced in France with vegetable fibres derived from the responsible management of forests (FSC® label).
Paper, as a high recyclable material, is completely within our search for sustainable materials!
That’s why our paper isn’t anti-fire or water proofed treated. This would mean the paper couldn’t be 100% recyclable and that would be against our environmental philosophy.
We advise to choose our lampshades for interior and dry rooms only. And use LED light bulbs only.
CORD SET
The cord set is not included but is available on our store in two different colors.

LIGHT BULBS
Kimi lampshades must be used exclusively with a LED light bulb. E27 socket.
The light bulb isn’t included.
LIGHT
Light and bright coloured paper will diffuse more light than dark coloured ones.
White, vanilla, buttercup papers will create a warm and bright atmosphere. They are perfect for the living room, bedroom, a children bedroom, a study…
Black, grey, blue papers will instead produce a more down directed light. They are great for a reading corner, above the dining table, in a hallway…
Light grey, sky blue for example are great for a nursery as a night light.
Pink and apple green will diffuse a more subdued light.
For a mixed result we advise the combination of two different colours (a light colour with a darker one or white with colour).
