Acrylic, Lucite, and plastic materials should never be cleaned with harsh spray chemicals that have bleach, ammonia, or alcohol in them. Be sure to use an acrylic or plastic spray cleaner with 100% cotton cloth only to keep from scratching and looking new.

Acrylic is lighter then glass. Acrylic will not shatter like glass. Acrylic is clearer then glass. Acrylic will scratch, but so does glass.

ONLY the hinges are sold for this item.

We stock these in a few sizes that best fit your needs and can be cut easily to size with simple home tools if needed like a pair of tin snips, or utility knife.

The profile shape is 1 1/2" Wide with a 1/2" center gap.

These have great rubberized gripper feet along the entire hinge length and your material will NOT slip or slide in the hinge.

These 2 sizes of hinges will accommodate material from 1/8" and 3/16"-1/4" thickness of glass.

TIP: If the hinge seems a little snug you can put a little dish soap along the glass edge to slide on easier.

Can be used for other thing also like Terrariums, and small pet cages.

Other uses are drum surrounds, desk dividers, cardboard literature hangers.

I recently purchased three sections of these replacement aquarium lid hinges for two of my tanks and am very pleased with the results. The build quality is impressive, specifically the strong gripping mechanism that secures the glass and the excellent flexibility of the center hinge area. While they feel quite durable, I’ll be monitoring their long-term performance over time. My only minor gripe is that the price point feels a bit high, but based on the initial quality, they seem to be a solid investment for a secure lid setup.
