This jaunty equestrian ladies' hat is perfectly suited for an Elizabethan costume, a saucy wench, or even a sexy steampunk gown. The sporty lines and snappy brim are all part of its fetching allure.

Made of a distressed smooth brown leather, this Riding Hat is finished with a trimmed brown suede belt, plated antique brass buckle and topped with a hat clip of peacock feathers and coordinating plumes.

This high-perched hat is designed to sit comfortably atop the head and should cock to the side with no need for pins or clumsy combs.

NOTES:
-The Primary Color is the distressed brown crown of the hat. The exact shade may vary.

Love the hats and feathers! As I buy more hats from BlondeSwanHats, I find I like the full size better. The riding hat is meant to perch higher on the head, but tends to fall off if I have to bend down. I now have a better idea of the sizes and will simply try to stretch the leather on this hat.

This hat is absolutely gorgeous and very well made, excellent craftmanship. This is the second hat I have purchased from Blonde Swan, the other hat I have is as beautiful and well made as the distressed riding hat. There are no words I can find to convey my love for the hats that I own. Whenever I wear my hats at Renaissance faires I attend, compliments abound. Oh, and I know there is a bit of time that passes before you get your hat, but it is well worth the wait. So, if you are thinking about buying one of Blonde Swans hats, just do it. Honestly, you won’t be disappointed in your purchase and you’ll be just as crazy about your hat as I am with mine. In addition, my experience with Blonde Swan was great. They did the plumes different than pictured as I asked, without any problems.
