I find Peperomia prostrata one of the quaintest plants to charm this planet of ours. With its elegant trails jeweled with trinket leaves, Peperomia prostrata positively enchants any terrarium or fairy garden.

Order comes with 4 cuttings. Each cutting will be at least 3 inches long. Peperomia prostrata will root easily on a moist surface.

Shipping: The standard shipping on this order is first class mail. Please upgrade to priority if you live in an area experiencing cold temperatures and purchase a heat pack. Heat packs are in the listing area like our plants.

How to root: I find the easiest way to get the cuttings to grow roots is to lay the entire vine directly onto the soil. Keep the soil moist. Place in a warm spot out of direct sunlight. During shipping some of the leaves may fall from the stem. Don’t fret- you can grow a plant from a single leaf! Simply place the leaf on the soil with your cuttings. In the last picture you can see a tiny plant growing from a single leaf. It’s magical!

Plant the cuttings into small pots filled with a moist and well-draining soil mix. Place the pot in a location with bright light and maintain temperatures of about 68° degrees Fahrenheit.
A rooting hormone will help the plant root quicker and begin growing out. Be careful not to overwater the plant. This little plant likes a moist soil but does not like overwatering. Allow the top layer of the soil to completely dry before watering again.
Do not make the soil waterlogged. Overwatered peperomia prostrata becomes wilted or grows scab-like protuberances from their leaves.
