Antique Victorian Handled Woven Basket - Natural Fibers Decorative Pine Needle and Rye Straw - Straw Basket With Handle


A sweet Victorian natural fiber basket with decorated rye straw and pine needle woven basket with handle So much attention has been given in the making of the detail of this hand woven handled basket. The base of this basket has a coiled weaving. Great design in basket weaving, great condition. As found in an old country farmhouse estate auction.

Measures 7-1/2" to top of handle, 7-1/2" across at handles and 8-1/2 across from widest points.

Condition, almost perfect. Has one small broken spine bride fiber reaching out to connect that have detached from weaving wraps. Very few weaving wraps loose at middle of handle. Still this basket is strong and sturdy. Handle is in good secure condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Nice and clean inside and out.

I SHIP IMMEDIATELY and packed securely. Insurance has been added to postage handling charges on items over $100.00.
