Drops yarns are made from 65% Peruvian Highland wool and 35% superfine alpaca. It is a popular and high-quality yarn. They are warm, comfortable and with good shape stability. Color does not fade. The clothes made of these yarns are well worn and resistant to wear. The Alpaca wool gives softness and comfort. They are very good for kids, because they are soft and warm.

Alpaca is very soft, silky and long-lasting yarn. Alpaca fibers contain microscopic air pockets, providing great insulation and keeping you warm during the winter. These same air pockets allow for outstanding breathability, it helps keep you cool in the summer. Alpaca is fluffy, soft, warm and resistant from pilling. These yarns are non-alergical, so it is very good for kids and people who are allergic to wool.

This product was washed with natural, non – allergic eco detergent and is ready to wear.

Care instruction: Hand wash, 30 degrees C (85 degrees F); Dry flat; Iron at low heat; Do not bleach; Do not hang.

I was hesitant to get these leggings, since I have sensitive skin, but I really wanted to try them. I’ve never worn knit leggings before, so didn’t know exactly what to expect. When I first tried them on, I thought they were too small, even though I sized up to a small (I’m an xsmall normally). But with time, specially wearing them to bed, the knit has relaxed, and they feel much less constrictive. The rise is definitely not as high as I’m used to, but that’s okay. The alpaca wasn’t quite as soft as I expected (I have an alpaca sweater to compare them to), but it feels much better after a soak in Unicorn Beyond Soft. At first, my skin felt irritated, even after the soak, but after wearing them to bed, and around the house, my skin feels better/I’ve gotten used to it. It does hurt to be on my knees though because of being knitted

Second review because I purchased 2 items (see photo) but my comments are the same :) OlgaKnitted hand made the most beautiful custom 100% alpaca v-neck sweater (see photo, size small, 16.5 inches pit-to -pit laying flat, in light pink color), and cozy winter 100% alpaca leggings (see photo, in large, alpaca gray color, 14.5 width laying flat but fits perfectly for 40 inch hip measurement!)!!! She was so kind and patient with understanding the details I desired for the custom sweater and it’s exactly as I hoped for!!! It came with some time, but worth the wait. I didn’t see tracking updates for a few days but hoped for the best and after a few weeks it arrived! Lovely packaging too! Thank you so much OlgaKnitted!!! Your attention to detail and quality is exceptional!!!
