This tutorial was created by me, using my own design and process. I have been teaching polymer clay techniques for over 10 years, and this is a brand new tutorial showing you how to make one of my popular brooch designs. Now written in a PDF format so that everyone can make their own Fun and Colourful Owl Brooches.

This design would also be good for card toppers, necklaces, fridge magnets or free hanging decorations.

In this tutorial I cover the elements needed to make your unique Owl Brooch.
1. Making a blended body, including an Owl template.
2. Making a cane for the wing feathers.
3. Making a cane for the Owl's eyes.
4. Two options for making the Owl's claws.
5. How to incorporate the brooch finding neatly.
Plus many other tips along the way.

This tutorial is suitable for beginners upwards. The tutorial takes you step by step through the whole process, over 40 pages, with 158 photos of the individual stages. There are also links to my videos on conditioning clay, completing a Skinner Blend and reducing a cane, for anyone new to those elements of the process.

Included in the notes are instructions on how to make the brooch for anyone who doesn't have access to a pasta machine used solely for Polymer Clay.

You can make this brooch out of any recognised brand of Polymer Clay, and in any colour combination of your choice.
