Phoenix silk scarf with two birds circling around each other was hand painted by me on pure Habotai silk. This exquisite and colorful scarves makes a unique wedding anniversary gift.

The Phoenix scarf was designed as a multifunctional piece of women accessory. It can be worn on the shoulders, wrapped around the neck, as a head scarf or even a purse decoration.
This long and lightweight foulard was made of pure silk.

The dimensions: 155 centimeters in length and 43 centimeters in width which translates to 61 inches by 17 inches.
Silk: pure 100% silk Habotai Light, which is delicate and semi-transparent. It is luxurious and it shines in the sun!
This scarf is made to order and I will need up to 3 days to paint it.

This scarf has two magnificent birds painted in flying poses, with their magical wings spread wide and peacock stylized tails floating behind them. The scarf has a Yin-Yang feel to itself: opposition of two, opposite color sets of brass or copper and oxidize copper; the warm yellow orange with red and cool turquoise with dark blue.

Please hand wash only! Carrying and washing instructions will be attached but rest assured that all of my scarfs won't fade in the sun and won't get damaged by water.

Two circling Birds Of Paradise are visible from both sides; the scarf does not have a top and reverse, the design is equally distributed on both sides.

All of my scarfs are made of natural 100% silk, which requires delicate treatment. All of my scarfs are light-fast (won't fade in sun) and the paint is water resistant (can be washed, can be worn during rain etc.)

You can wash the scarf by hand in lukewarm water with a drop of natural soap. Rinse toughly with clean water.

You can iron the scarf on the lowest temperature set.

All carrying and washing details will be attached to the scarf in a form of a note.

Each scarf includes note with the name of the scarf, my name and signature and the date of painting.

Each scarf is packed separatelly in a neat plastic bag, so it won't be damage during transport. It is ready for the gift - wrapping.

Luiza's artwork is absolutely amazing and beautiful. This scarf is full of strong, beautiful colours and possibly her most artwork featuring the phoenix birds to date! I paid for Global Express delivery and Royal Mail then held it hostage at their customs point in Langley for several days till I contacted them to ask why they were delaying the delivery. Anyone ho experiences a similar delay by Royal Mail, make sure you contact the Royal Mail Help Centre on Twitter rather than getting stressed out like I did. I thought they had lost this very unique artwork and was very upset and then even more excited to finally receive it. Luiza is one of my favourite artists on Etsy and Royal Mail just about redeemed themselves when they finally delivered it to me.

Between the gifts for my family, for friends and those I bought for myself, this is the 6th scarf I buy in Luiza. Each is a work of art. Each is a success in its kind. There is something for everyone and to wear with all styles and outfits. The whole is always harmonious and the colors shimmering. This type of silk is very pleasant to wear and importantly, it is easily washed by hand, and maintenance is absolutely no problem for the holding of colors. After, several years of almost daily wearing... and the washes that go with it, it's like on the first day. I highly recommend.

Chacune est une réussite dans son genre. Il y en a pour tous les goûts et pour porter avec tous les styles et toutes les tenues. L'ensemble est toujours harmonieux et les couleurs chatoyantes. Ce type de soie est très agréable à porter et chose importante, elle se lave facilement à la main, et l'entretien ne pose absolument aucun problème pour la tenue des couleurs. Après, plusieurs années de port quasi quotidien... et les lavages qui vont avec, c'est comme au premier jour. Je recommande vivement.
