Lizzie hats are ruched around the crowns and can be packed flat, even scrunched into your pocket, and will spring back to shape, thanks to the plastic brim-stiffening.

Please choose your size of hat carefully and measure your head as shown in the photograph. Do not pull the tape too tight, ensure you have it around the widest part of your head where the hat will sit (see photograph), and make sure the tape is not too baggy either. If you don’t have a sewing tape measure use a piece of non-stretchy string around your head then lay it along a measure. Measure across your forehead, the tops of your ears and around the nape of your neck where the hat will actually sit.

You have a choice of two comfortable sizes xs-m 56cm/22″ or m-xl 56/59cm, 22″-23.5″. This dual sizing makes the hat very comfortable whatever your head size as you can be assured the hat will fit. If your head is exactly 56cm/22” you should buy the xs-m unless you like your hat particularly loose.

If you have a small head you will know how difficult it is to make a large hat feel comfortable on your head, even with a drawstring inside, but with our sizing you are only making a medium hat smaller, not an extra large hat. This works really well for those with smaller heads. Likewise, if your head is larger than the average (and many are) you need a little more room inside the hat to make it feel good on your head. The elasticated band inside the hat will make it feel snug once you have adjusted it correctly.
