Do you have a plaster cast of your pet's paw? Do you just have a photo of your pet's paw print in the snow? We can take a photo of your pet's paw print and turn it into a replica print - perfect for room decor, ornaments, or sharing with family members! If you do not currently have a paw print of your pet, you can take a photo of the bottom of their foot. Try to take the picture straight on the paw and not at an angle.

Paw print will be approximately 4 inches wide and approximately 1/3 inches thick. The "plaster" part will be printed in white biodegradable PLA plastic filament and the paw part will be printed in black PLA.

We will put a hole in it so you can hang it on your tree, in a window, or anywhere you'd like. Please let us know if you would NOT like a hole punched through it. We can also do custom colors - just ask!

PLEASE NOTE: If you have not already contacted us with your image, please click "Request a Custom Order" above this description before purchasing. We would like to get the photograph first to be sure that it will work with our processes to create the 3D printed replica.

The 3D printed replica is created by me using Autodesk CAD software and Simplify3D slicing program. Replica is printed in biodegradable PLA filament in my shop in Broadalbin, NY. The process can be time consuming and we don't want to rush. We do expect to have your item print-ready in a day or two, but please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery in those cases where we need to do a little more work on your item.

3D printed items are not heat-resistant. Although PLA plastic can withstand temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 Celsius), it can become soft if put in dishwasher, hot water, or even left in a car on a warm day.

Wash 3D prints with a cloth of warm water and mild soap. Most prints are not water-tight.

If a part breaks, you can glue it back together with superglue, Loc-tite gel, epoxy, or any other glue safe for plastics.

3D printed items can be painted with acrylic paints or any other paints that are safe for plastic or PLA plastic. It is recommended that they are primed first. Use of model car paints or spray paint for plastics work well.

If you want to remove visible layer lines, you can sand prior to priming. If sanding removes the natural color from a print, it can sometimes be restored by rubbing olive oil on it. Note that most items are not completely solid and only have approximately a 1mm solid surface so be cautious to not sand down too many layers.
