My mats are longer and wider than conventional mats giving you a sneaky bit of extra studio space. They are also incredibly lightweight making them perfect to transport anywhere.

Crafted from premium grade cork from Portugal, as the top layer, and a biodegradable foam on the underneath, that is free from PVC and latex. Bringing to you a mat that is eco-friendly and sustainable, so you can workout knowing you are doing your bit for our planet. They are ideal for most types of Yoga, Pilates or other mat based exercises.

All designs are individual and unique. They have been hand drawn and then printed onto the mat using only eco-friendly inks.

Cork is a far superior surface to practice on. It is naturally anti-bacterial and non slip due to a natural substance within cork that is released as cork gets wet, called Suberin. This gives the cork a waxy texture and also repels water, making it ideal for even the most demanding practices or workouts.

Unlike conventional PVC mats, cork is a sustainable material that is kind to the environment. Cork is harvested every 10 years and no oak tree is harmed during this process.

Biodegradable TPE foam gives the mat a nice cushioning for support and comfort. TPE is hypoallergenic unlike natural rubber, which is unsuitable for those with a latex allergy.

ABOUT THIS DESIGN

Frogs are intuitive little creatures with an amazing sense of hearing. The basis of my Frog and Pond Life Cork Yoga Mat, is to use the time when you step on your mat to stop, look and listen to what is going on inside your body on that particular day. When we listen to our body we get the most out of our practice. No two days are the same. Some days we may feel energised and want to flow, other days a more mindful, slow practice will suit us better. Listen to you just like the Frogs do. And in the words of Kermit, the most famous Frog of all….. “Take a look above you, discover the view. If you haven’t noticed, please do, please do, please do.”

USE & CARE

After your practice, lay the mat to dry if it has become moist from sweating, before rolling.
Always roll cork side facing out.
Store in a dry place at room temperature (not near a heater) and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
My mats are easy to clean, just simply wipe them down with soap and water or with a natural anti-bacterial spray. You can even make your own with some essential oils, water and white vinegar.
Not machine washable.
