★ HOW TO ORDER:
1/ Select the material (sterling silver, yellow gold fill, rose gold fill) and size of your disc.
Gold filled is different than gold plated. The value of gold-filled is greater than gold-plated because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film. It is an actual layer of 14k yellow gold or 20k rose gold that is pressure bonded to a base metal. Because karat gold covers the whole surface, it makes it tarnish-resistant if proper care is used. It will not rub off or turn color, and is hypoallergenic. It also meets federal quality standards, offers the warm tones of gold at a fraction of the cost of pure gold, and is therefore is the best alternative to solid gold.

2/ Select a font (See picture in listing, under the main listing picture).
I have 16 fonts available in my store.

3/ In the personalization box, indicate the following:
- The initial, letter, word, name, text or design to stamp. To avoid any confusion if you need a design, please do write "Design" followed by the corresponding number pictured in the list. Some customers want the actual numbers.
- If you want the lettering to be darkened or left raw (metal color, not blackened)
- The position of the text: straight through and centered, or along the curved edge at the bottom.
- The finish of your disc (smooth, hammered edges, hammered entirely, dome).

★ SIZE OF LETTERS:
I do hand stamping. It is done by striking steel stamps with a hammer, by hand and one at a time, in order to leave an imprint in the raw metal. Therefore, I cannot change the size of the lettering. All fonts are pictured in my store and in the listings to give you an idea of the size, and what your product will look like when finished. If you think that a font is too small and you need a larger size, please contact me before placing an order. I will not be able to adjust the size because I do not use a software.

★ LAYOUT/FORMAT:
The charms shown in the listing are for illustration purposes only. Please leave me your instructions at checkout if you have a layout in mind, such as placement of the text, straight and centered, along the bottom edge, etc. With no note from you, I will stamp the charm as I think looks best, and it will not necessarily match one of the styles pictured. You can also draw a sketch on a piece of paper and send me a picture if you would like.

★ FINISH:
The edges can be smooth or hammered for more texture. Let me know your preference by adding your instructions at checkout. With no note from you, I will copy the finish shown in the first picture.

★ ONE SIDE ONLY
I cannot stamp the back of the metal. I use a hammer and metal stamps. So if I stamp the back of it, it will flatten out the lettering already stamped on the other side and leave slight but visible marks.

★ PREVIEW:
I do not use a software, I stamp directly into the metal with a hammer and steel stamps, by hand and one at a time. So I will not be able to send a proof before processing your order.

★ STAMPING:
Each individual character (letter, number and/or symbol) is stamped by hand, by me, one at a time by placing steel stamps face down on the metal and hitting them with a hammer. Because my products are made to order and not engraved by a machine, reasonable variations are to be expected and contribute to the uniqueness and hand finished quality of each piece. Please keep in mind that I am happy to make this piece for you, so you can trust that I will always create it to the best of my abilities, with a lot of effort, time and care. I will not mail you a piece that is not esthetically acceptable to me.

★ COLOR:
I use oil based paint pens to blacken the stamping. Because there is no chemical reaction that actually alters the metal properties, the color may fade. We highly recommend not taking showers/baths or swimming with the necklace on.

★ GIFT BOX/PACKAGING:
The charm will come in a velvet drawstring pouch, ready for gift giving.
