Art Deco 1920s platinum filigree and diamond cocktail ring with hand-carved filigree. The filigree around the floating, hexagonal-set center diamond is so fine - almost like a spiderweb, or crocheted lace. This openwork is angular and geometric, while the filigree around the trim of the rim is more free-form and scrolling. Milgrain detail throughout. All gemstones are bead set. Engraved split leaf work up the shoulders. Slim gap around the side gallery. Gently curved edges. An exquisite ring.
