Georges Briard was one of the most important and prolific housewares designers of the mid-century. His work spans the era from the post-war glamour of the atomic age to the groovier styles of the 60's and the earthier imagery of the 70's.

This is a collection of three beautiful, signed, vintage Georges Briard serving pieces. They can be purchased as a collection, or individually. 1 larger platter, 12"x12", pure white milkglass with gold and black decoration from the "Forbidden Fruit" collection. It still has the original "Guild Glass" sticker on the bottom. It does have tiny chips on the two bottom corners, but they are barely visible. It's a real stunner and looks great on display or on a table.

The smaller pieces are clear glass with gold designs, one is 8"x8" and from the "Persian Garden" collection. It's in excellent condition.

The smallest is 7"x7" and has a crown motif. I don't know the name of the collection. It's has some wear and a few minor scratches, but look pretty good for it's age!
