LightCanes have a sturdy clear polycarbonate tube. The 25mm diameter allows enough space for beautiful white or multi-coloured LED lights to be entwined around glitter sticks.
The lights are operated by two hidden AA batteries. To ensure ease of operation, these LED canes are the only ones on the market with both the batteries and the On/Off switch conveniently embedded within the ergonomic handle. (This is an important consideration, as LED canes with battery and switch located in the rubber foot will mean balancing while pulling off the mucky ferrule to operate. Not a good idea if you have a balance problem!)

The was delivered rapidly and was well packaged so no danger. of damage. Just insert a couple of AA batteries and press the button in the handle and VOILA. You'll being joy to yourself and anyone you encounter on your walk. These are times when we need even the smallest uplifting event. Expensive but worth every penny. I'm astonished at how l lightweightit is and how ergonomically it is designed. I was puzzling over weather to get the white lights or the Christmas lights. I opted for the Christmas lights and I am absolutely delighted that when the cane is not lit, it is a sparkly gleaming silver. As attractive in the daylight as it is at night. Don't hesitate to buy it--you deserve it.
Unfortunately, the cane seems to be lost in the international shipping system. The seller has been courteous and incredibly professional. His communication went far beyond what most would do. He cares about his customers. Im disappointed i didn't get to see his beautiful product, but that is out of our hands. I would recommend highly as a seller.
