One of the most topographically dynamic streets in Seattle, Denny Ave descends steeply from Capitol Hill over I-5 and through South Lake Union. This is its intersection at Melrose Ave, where I often ride my bike home from the Hill.
Loosely rendered in watercolor, pen and ink, and a bit of acrylic paint, it's a striking view! This is a reproduction of the original drawing made in my sketchbook on break in January drizzle.
