Highlights
This poster was created for the amazing New Orleans Pharmacy Museum.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an historic building within the Vieux Carre Historic District, the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum showcases its extensive collection preserving the rich history of pharmacy and healthcare in Louisiana; past and present.
The museum showcases Louis J. Dufilho, Jr., who became America's first licensed pharmacist in 1816, therefore making his pharmacy the first United States apothecary shop to be conducted on the basis of proven adequacy.
Size is 17 inches wide by 22 inches high, black ink printed on parchment stock.
PLEASE NOTE: This poster image was hand-drawn by Madame Talbot using nothing more than a vintage rapidograph pen and Dr. P. H. Martin's Bombay Black India ink on Cresent 201.6 Hot Press Medium Weight illustration board.
After completion, the image is hand-delivered to Ryan Gwinner Press in Portland, Oregon and printed on an offset printing press.
Absolutely no computers were used in the creation of this poster - from start to finish.
