And I have this ever-growing collection of fountain pen inks (and pens) that's just begging to be used.

So I decided to offer my services.
I will hand write your text on lovely, smooth, 32 lb paper, and mail it it to your recipient.
I will address the envelope by hand, and put a real stamp on it.

Easy-peasy.
Send me your text via etsy convo (or email, if you prefer),
and don't forget to include the recipient's address.
I will write your return address on the envelope.

What might you send by mail?
A thank you card for a gift or an interview,
a simple "hello,"
or perhaps you might want to send the lyrics from your favorite song to your friend or lover.

Everybody loves to get mail, but not everyone takes the time to send it anymore.

A heartfelt letter is particularly appropriate for weddings, for your steadfast wedding party members, or for anniversaries, for your special someone.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. Is there a word limit?
Yeah, buying one "letter" covers up to 300 words. If your letter is more like 600 words, just buy two letters. :)

2. Is that really your handwriting?
Yes. The letters in the photos are all my handwriting and photography.
3. I want to frame it! What should I do?
Make sure it's going to fit on one page - less than 200 words is best. Send me the text or word count and ask, if you're not sure. Sometimes line breaks are really important, like in poetry, so that can affect how much fits on one page. Pick a shipping option that includes keeping it flat - either "Priority" or "keep my letter flat." I also usually suggest black ink or blue-black ink, because those two are permanent and shouldn't fade in the sun over time.
4. What kind of paper do you use?
It's bright white, heavy, smooth, and coated especially to deal with inks. If you want something else, like a cream colored paper or another color, just ask.
5. Where do I send my text?
To me! You can send it through the messaging system on Etsy. Or you can email it to me.
{You can copy and paste it into the "notes to seller" box during checkout, but it doesn't really preserve paragraph breaks or line spacing very well.}

IF YOU WANT TRACKING ON YOUR LETTER
Then you should upgrade to the $4 shipping.
It's in a drop down menu during checkout.
It will end up in a different kind of package than an envelope, because USPS will not track first class envelopes - but they will track bubble mailers. If you do not choose to upgrade your shipping, then I will mail it in an envelope with a stamp, and there will be no way to track it once it leaves my hands.
And usually? It's fine. 🙂
