Sifting through the Rocks, Whidbey Island Shore, Washington

I took a walk on this beach and was astonished by the colors in the rocks and eel grass. The plants and rocks made a wonderful design of color and seemed to be filled with little treasures in plants and colors.

My art speaks to a resonance with beauty in nature. I love the transcendentalist and religious naturalists. I resonate with the divine in nature.


I base my art on photos I take as part of my spiritual practice. This one was done in markers and paint. I use paint markers, permanent markers, watercolor paints and oil based paints to create these images. I use my art making as a form of prayer and meditation.

I print it in several sizes on different substrates. This can be in your home on stretched canvas, or on a banner substrate with grommets for hanging. The stretched canvas has a black edge and is my favorite way to see this displayed. Sizes and prices are listed below. The type of material it prints on impacts the shipping and price.

All of my art comes ready to display. The canvas prints do not have to be framed and come with a black edge. You are welcome to frame if you wish or just hang it on the wall on the thick stretchers. The large 4' 6" square" banner substrate is a matte banner canvas and has grommets to make it easy for you to hang them from nails on your wall. The canvases are available in 12, 24 or 36" sizes.
