Berry Bowl (with Matching Drip Tray)

DESCRIPTION: If you already know what a berry bowl is, then you know how awesome they are!

Berry bowls are for rinsing, straining and serving berries, grapes and small tomatoes. When you serve berries, you usually rinse them in a strainer or right in that plastic container and then use towels to clean up all the water and finally put them in a bowl to serve, right? that's a lot of work! Basically, berry bowls remove the need for all of that. You just place your berries in the bowl, rinse and the drainage holes in the bottom work like a colander, then place the bowl on its tray. The tray catches any excess water and you can put the bowl out to serve.

If you have berries left over, put some cling wrap over the top of the bowl and put it right in the fridge. The holes on the bottom will help to aerate the berries and they won't get as mushy as the do in Tupperware.

SIZE: All of these berry bowls will hold a quart of strawberries, to give a sense of size. Sizes vary from 6 to 7 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 to 3 inches high. The tray is flat bottomed and is usually 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 inches in diameter.
