Caring of your new ring. The stainless steel will scratch like normal rings but it is harder that silver or gold rings. The clear coat is similar in hardness to the coating on plastic glasses lenses. It will scratch a lot more easily that the stainless steel. The clear coating does not like hot water, bleach and abrasive cleaning compounds. The ashes are completely sealed and water proof. You have to be a bit more careful with these types of rings due the nature of the clear coat, not just my rings but anybody that makes these ashes type rings.

HOW I MAKE THESE RINGS.
I make these rings from a solid bar of surgical grade 316 stainless steel, real Rosewood and a small amount of your pet's cremation ashes that you send me to be inlaid into your remembrance ring. A teaspoon of the cremation ashes of a pet in a small sealed plastic bag is enough for me to make the ring for you. I will treat your cremation ashes with the upmost respect and any ashes left over will be returned to you along with your ring. The cremation ashes you send me are sealed in a clear resin so you will see the actual ashes you send. The colour of the ashes can be from almost black, as in the photo, to light beige so your cremation ashes inlay will be exactly the same colour as the cremation ashes you send. None of my rings are the same due to the nature of being handmade and not mass produced and the variation of the colour of the cremation ashes and the real Rosewood.
From the receipt of your cremation ashes I would need 5 to 10 working days to make the ring for you before it is ready for shipping.

AFTER YOU ORDER
I will contact you after your order has been placed to give you my address to send your cremation ashes to. Please send your ashes by Royal Mail recorded delivery. I will let you know when I receive them and keep you informed about the progress of your ring.

RING SIZE!
If you are thinking of buying a ring from me I strongly urge you to go to a proper jeweller to have your finger sized. Make sure you tell him what width ring in mm you are thinking of as you might need a larger size than your normal finger size due to the width of the new ring you want. Be very careful about putting your ring on your finger if it feels tight,even if it is slightly tight. Your finger will swell up and cut off the circulation to your finger. Put your finger high above your head and used washing liquid to make your finger slippery. If that does not work you will need to cut it across width ways with a hack saw to remove it. This applies to all rings not just mine.

The photo is of an actual ring Size UK R and 8 mm wide. Each ring will be unique due to the nature of the materials being used and the fact that it is handmade. The photos are for representation only. The quality of the ring will be the same as the photo.

An absolute pleasure to have found Ted on Etsy. When our dog sadly passed away, my Son and I wanted something special to remember her, and Ted has given us this. From start to finish he was amazing, updating us regularly on the whole process, sending pics showing each stage, even sending a plastic sample of a bigger size, before adjusting my ring to fit me better (as the size I chose was a little small, totally my fault), at no extra cost. We have been wearing our rings now for a few weeks, and they are perfect, the only time I take mine off is when I shower. Ted exceeded our expectations in every way, I will not hesitate to buy from him again, if I ever needed too.
