During our recent travels in Ireland, we came across a couple of National Encyclopedias volumes which were published in the late 1800s. Inside the books were a number of printed pages from engraving plates. These highly detailed illustrations are suitable for framing and would make wonderful wall art pieces. Each one is a unique printed piece--not a reproduction and is printed on heavy linen paper that has acquired a beautiful aged patina over the years. This batch of prints are entitled "Ordnance" and "Projectiles" and feature engravings of military canons and ammunition which were in use in the late 1800s. Each print measures approx. 6.25" (16cm) X 9.5" (24cm). They do not have any printing on the back side.
