This handmade, Moroccan cactus silk pillow cover never goes out of style. It evokes a boho theme while bringing a touch of class and sophistication to any room. The embroidered designs on the cactus silk are inviting and yet hip at the same time. This pillow cover comes in one size (21 x 19) only. Moroccan cactus silk or sabra silk (as it is also called) is made from the Saharan aloe vera plant, which is a member of the agave family. The leaves are crushed and soaked until the fibers separate. The resulting fibers are spun by hand to create a uniquely wonderful textile (sabra silk), which is then sometimes hand-dyed with vegetable dyes. Each pillow also has hand-embroidered designs adding to the color and artistry of each pillow. Each of these pillows is handmade in Morocco.
