DESCRIPTION:

Mothers, hold your babies close to your heart. They are only small for a short time.

This set of mums and babies makes a great gift or decor for a baby shower, nursery decor, or fantastic toys for little toddlers.

Whether or not you have ever hand sewn before, you will find the instructions included with these patterns easy to follow, with step-by-step guidance and illustrations for all the stitches.

Use the handy shopping lists to gather all the readily available supplies you will need to make your animals. A sewing machine is not required.

Print the pattern pieces on regular paper (8.5 x 11" for North America; A4 for everyone else) without the need for any enlarging.

APPROX FINISHED SIZES:

• Moms stand at 9 inches tall (23 cm) not including ears, and 7 inches wide (18 cm)
• Babies are about 4 inches tall (10.5 cm) not including ears, and 3 inches wide (8 cm)

TIME TO MAKE:

Once you have assembled the materials and mastered the basic stitches each animal set (mom, baby, and carrier) should take about 5 hours to sew, or 20 hours for the set of four.

GENERALLY REQUIRED MATERIALS*:

• Craft felt (or wool felt, if desired)
• Embroidery floss
• Embroidery needle
• Scissors
• Straight pins OR glue stick OR tape
• Printer & copy paper
• Stuffing (fiberfill)
• Ultra fine felt tip pen (optional in some patterns)
