These are high-quality, bio-medically compatible Grade 1 titanium necklace chains that I have made custom for Steampunk Garage. These chains can be worn in saltwater, chlorine, sulfur springs, or any other environment without rusting or tarnishing. They are 100% corrosion-resistant! These are unalloyed and commercial pure titanium with ALL WELDED LINKS (including around the clasp) so they are unbelievably strong. I spot weld the clasp on in-house, so custom lengths are available.

Please look at all the pictures to see the color difference between titanium and stainless steel. Titanium is a darker more gunmetal color than stainless steel!

- The clasp is welded onto the chain
- The end ring is welded shut
- All the links along the length are also welded

Every link in this chain AND the clasp CASING are 100% titanium and completely allergy free!
Note: There is a stainless steel spring INSIDE the clasp, but it is completely encased and will not touch your skin.

Titanium is 40% lighter weight than stainless steel:

2.4mm - 18" weighs 2.3 grams (aka 0.07oz)
2.4mm - 22" weighs 2.7 grams (aka 0.08oz)
2.4mm - 30" weighs 3.5 grams (aka 0.12oz)

3mm - 18" weighs 3.9 grams (aka 0.13oz)
3mm - 22" weighs 4.8 grams (aka 0.17oz)
3mm - 30" weighs 4.8 grams (aka 0.23oz)

5mm - 18" weighs 8.3 grams (aka 0.30oz)
5mm - 22" weighs 9.8 grams (aka 0.35oz)
5mm - 30" weighs 13.8 grams (aka 0.49oz)

The 5mm chain can be clasped anywhere along the length.

Please note: COLOR ANODIZING IS A SURFACE TREATMENT. If the chain is anodized, the weld will become visible and sometimes anodizes a different color than the rest of the link, but you will only see this if you rotate the links out of the pattern to look for them. You don’t see the welds when when you're wearing it.
