Polished finishes are very hard to maintain and are only recommended on items that will be kept in a case or tray/stand. Copper and aluminum are both soft and will scuff and ding easily. Brass though will oxidize over time is relatively easy to clean and does not scuff as easily making it a great choice.

All our items are photographed in natural lighting, no harsh or fluorescent lighting is ever used. Photo's are taken in Macro for detail and may appear larger than they actually are. Please understand though we try our best to take the most accurate photos possible, we cannot know your individual monitor settings. Please see the many examples of different metals throughout our shop for the best overall color reference. We may use pictures of past orders as examples in our shop and for marketing and publication. We try to describe our items to the best of our ability and will photograph their flaws(if any) but remember that all our items are handmade by us and will of course show signs of such. Aluminum rose is beautiful and the perfect addition to my wife’s customary anniversary gift roses. I appreciate the description and measurements as I try to get anniversary roses the same rough size, shape, and height.
