The Bláklukka Pullover is a warm, rustic handknit sweater with a beautiful stranded yoke pattern. The 100% Canadian wool yarn used is from Canada's oldest woolen mill, located in New Brunswick. The fabric knit from this yarn is strong and durable and, with proper care, should last years. Since the wool is not overprocessed, you might find it has a faint 'sheepy' smell when it gets wet. However, this minimal processing allows the wool to retain some of its natural oils and character.

The main body of the sweater is a lovely grassy green, reminiscent of spring! The colourwork yoke is worked in white, maroon, and gold coloured yarn. "Bláklukka" is the Icelandic word for the harebell flower.

Materials:
- This handmade sweater is made from a sturdy 100% Canadian wool that was grown, milled, and dyed in a family-owned mill in Canada.
- We use only the highest quality, ethically-sourced yarn to create these heirloom handmade items!
- Wool is resistant to body odour. It is also moisture-wicking, breathable, and biodegradable.
- We try to capture colours as accurately as possible, but colour may vary slightly from your screen.

***Model is 5'7" with a 44 " (112 cm) bust.

Care:
- This pullover should be hand washed in cold water and dried flat. When not being worn, it should be folded and stored in a drawer or on a shelf, never on a hanger.

All wool will stretch over time. If your hat feels a bit small when it arrives, please be aware that it will stretch over time and mold to your head shape and size. Check your head circumference and compare it to the measurements in each listing description.

- Hand wash cold with a gentle detergent such as Soak or Eucalan. Squeeze out water (do not wring, or your item will stretch out of shape). For pullovers, roll the item in a towel and squeeze excess moisture out. Reshape and air dry flat.
- Do not put in washing machine or dryer, as this will cause your wool item to felt.
- If your item has a pom pom, remove it before washing. The pom pom can be removed by detaching from inside.
- If your item has a pom pom, refresh it by gently steaming it.

All wool will stretch over time. If you feel your item has gotten too stretched out, follow the instructions above to wash it, then reshape it to desired shape, and allow to dry. This should reshape it to its original size.

I did 2 repeats in the round as a swatch, but also so that I could use it as a tiny gift bag. Just add a draw string and sew the bottom shut. Minus the ribbing, it's the perfect size for gifting misc. tea bag flavors or to use as a dice pouch. 10/10 loved this. Will upload a pic. if I'm allowed to come back and edit this review (I don't have a pic on me right now).
