Sewing Instructions Download: Book Sleeve in Three Styles & Three Sizes (Pocket Version 2 Sizes)

This is a set of digital computer download instructions for sewing a book sleeve in three different sizes and styles. Book sleeves are great for protecting your books from damage while they are in your purse, backpack, etc. The pocket version comes in two sizes (medium & large) and is great if you are a member of a book club! The closure style features a sweet ruffled elastic technique. You will need to cut pieces using a rotary cutter, mat & ruler (no pattern pieces included).

Sizing/Finished Measurements:

Small: 6" x 9" (fits standard paperback books)
Medium: 8" x 10" (fits larger paperbacks and some hardcover books)
Large: 9" x 11" (fits standard hardcover books)

Skill Level: Beginner

Supplies Needed (depending on style):
- cotton fabric & 1/8" thick cotton batting fabric
- rotary cutter, mat & ruler
- point turner, loop turner
- elastic
- button
- safety pin
- thread & the usual sewing supplies
