****this listing is for my Solstice Socks Knitting PATTERN only****
This simple sock pattern is designed to give the beautiful look of a ribbed stitch sock without having to purl. Slipped stitches give this sock its texture and function as a way to avoid over stretching and losing shape. This creates a sock that will resist falling down or becoming oversized. This technique also creates a sock that is denser than stockinette alone for added warmth and cushion.
These socks are constructed one at a time from the top, down. Heel is shaped using a heel flap technique. Careful attention must be given to the heel flap as it is constructed over an odd number of stitches, different than a traditional heel flap.
