Stunning hand-painted Plasterer bee (Colletes similis) art print from my ‘Bees of the World’ series.

This very important pollinator is named for her method of ‘plastering’ the walls of her nest with a secretion leaving a dried glossy finish. The Plasterer bee has a furry appearance with bright orange hairs and dark bands on her abdomen.

This is my original artwork – hand-painted with watercolors – and printed with vibrant colours onto a lovely 200gsm silk coated art paper. You can’t find it anywhere else!

There are 18 gorgeous bees in this series. They come beautifully arranged together on posters and as individual art prints.
