Adorable Mid Century Hand-Painted Ceramic NAPCOWARE Bowling Ball Baby Figure Kitsch Kitschy Planter

Napcoware Bowling Ball Baby Planter

Markings:
Napcoware
C-7165

Country of Origin: Japan

Period: 1950's-1960's

Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition - There is a small hairline crack above her ponytail (that I didn't even notice at first). It does not decrease the integrity of the piece and falls away from view once you focus on the planter as a whole. I don't feel it deters from the piece, but I feel obligated to at least mention it. The piece could also benefit from a thorough cleaning.

Measurements: 5.5”H x 6.25”W from bowling pin to bowling pin. Opening is 4.5”

Description:

An absolutely sweet mid-century bowling ball planter with two large bowling pins striped in pink.

The planter is hand-painted and depicts a blond haired baby holding a blue bowling ball with blue and pink flowers surrounding her. The colors are BRIGHT and completely intact!

For the age of this piece it is in very good condition! Minus the small hairline crack (noted under the Condition section) I find this planter to be absolutely endearing and would be a perfect addition to your kitschy cute collection or a lovely way to hold gifts for a baby shower!
