Custom and personalised orders

I would love to work on a custom order with you! Feel free to contact me to discuss what you would like, and I'll be happy to give you a quote and timeframe. Even if you see an existing design that you like, but would prefer a different colour, or a magnet instead of a keychain, or a ribbon instead of a paperclip, just contact me! Once you are happy to proceed, I will create a special reserved listing for you, and payment will be taken in full at the time of order. I will aim to keep you updated with progress checks along the way to ensure you are happy with your item. You can see some examples of my custom orders on my Facebook and Pinterest pages.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Items are generally wrapped in lovely packaging (eg tissue paper and ribbon, organza bag or kraft box), and shipped in a bubble mailer. If you would like an item specially gift-wrapped with a gift tag, please leave a message in the "Buyer Comments" section when placing your order.

DewCatDesigns' jewellery is generally for occasional use only. Remove your jewellery before going to bed. Do not wear your jewellery whilst swimming or showering. Do not expose rings to water. Avoid exposure to hairsprays and perfume which could damage or stain the finish on your jewellery. To clean, periodically wipe with a dry, lint-free cloth.

Unless otherwise stated, earrings are generally fitted with sterling silver ear hooks. Please note that, for hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless faulty.

Each beaded item takes at least 2-3 hours' work to complete, often longer depending on the complexity of the shape and the size and number of beads used. On average, over 250 tiny seed beads (1-2mm in diameter) go into each item, and each bead is individually sewn in place to complete the desired shape.

Beautifully kitsch flamingo brooch pin, meticulously bead-embroidered with tiny glass silver-lined seed beads in shades of pink.

This pretty flamingo has a wing formed from a beautiful polished pink and grey shaped stone along with pink dangly bead-woven legs - these hang freely from the body and add a little movement! The brooch is carefully backed with pale grey faux-suede, with a silver brooch pin fixing.

Handmade with care in a smoke-free environment. Intended for decorative purposes only. Please note, bead colours may appear slightly differently on different computer or device screens, and in different lighting.

This brooch will be hand-crafted especially for you on a made-to-order basis. Although you may not receive the exact item pictured, your brooch will look almost identical, but with very slight variations due to the nature of hand-made items.
