A ceramic colander is wonderful for fresh berries, grapes, and even cherry tomatoes. This bowl is glazed in a vibrant green and blue color and it's our favorite way to inject a pop of color in anyone's kitchen. This two step glaze process makes this so unique. Each element of the design is completely hand carved making the design as unique as the glaze. It is just beautiful with berries and just as beautiful sitting on the counter.

The bowl measures approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter and sits 4 inches high and can easily wash a pint or two of berries. It is completed by a green saucer to match.

Wheel thrown, hand carved, glazed, and fired.

I cannot get over the beauty of this piece. It is absolutely stunning! The greens and blues are so vivid--reminds me of a peacock! From the organic shape of the bowl to the delicate ruffle along the edge of the saucer, this is truly a work of art. My blueberries will be so happy in their new home!
