I buy a TON of patterns from this maker and theyre all fabulous. I am new to Regency and used this pattern for a hand sewn gown I ended up wearing on stage at a music festival. Made some minor modifications - I sized up because I didnt plan to wear stays underneath 100% of the time, and did some stretch math to make the front panel a bit ~floofier~ but beyond that, stuck to the script and loved the result. Thank you!

I used the pattern of the spencer to make an open robe. I made an outfit inspired by "interview with a vampire" so not 100% HA (especially the fabric for the open robe) but I did make the whole outfit with underpinnings and everything :-) The pic is me while fitting it on, it still has the basting in it :-)

This is a very very good digital pattern. Printed easily and has marks on each page making lining up each page easy-breezy. I made a mock up first in the size indicated by my bust measurement and it was perfect. Remember that the back neck and back waist both have a drawstring in them. The instructions are hand sewing, historical instructions. I put it together a more modern way and used my sewing machine, but I did hand stitch the hem and back opening part. Enjoyed doing that little bit of feeling historical. Overall a lovely dress and I highly recommend!

I should have done a mock up but I’m impatient so it didn’t quite fit right in the back, thats my fault. Luckily the spencer hides it. Made mine of a seersucker fabric. Got lots of compliments at the park.
