This Azilal rug was made by a woman of the Berber tribes in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
This carpet was made by a Berber woman for personal use in her own home. She created it with wool and small portions of cotton thread, and permitted herself personal freedom in expressing her own creativity and values through North African symbology and colors as she wove these designs. This piece is one of a kind.
The carpet is in excellent condition .
Made from virgin wool, natural dyed wool and cotton.
