Avoid cleaners on porous gemstones such as Pearl, Opal, Emerald, Turquoise, Amber, Coral and Onyx. Store items in an airtight bag or jewellery box to prevent tarnishing. ✨ Ethiopian Welo Opal

Ethiopian Welo Opals are "hydrophane", which makes them thirsty for water. If the opals come in contact with water, they will absorb it like a sponge. If the opals are left in water and allowed to soak it up, they may lose their fire temporarily and turn yellow or brown. The fire and colour, sometimes, will come back once the opals have fully dried, which can take a few minutes to weeks, depending on how much water they managed to absorb. Please always remove Opal jewellery when bathing, showering, swimming, cleaning etc. and follow general jewellery care instructions as above.

Topaz is an allochromatic gemstone. That means that it's colour can be caused due to a range of the presence of small quantities of one or more coloring gemstone elements, such as Rutile, Hematite, Fluoride, Limonite etc. Natural White and Yellow (and sometimes Blue) Topaz can have those typical biphasic or triphasic inclusions. In the gemmology sometimes they call them the "Fingerprints of God".

14/20 Gold Filled jewellery is considered a lifetime piece.
