"Heading Out"

This 18 x 24 oil on canvas features a typical working boat you’d see plying the picturesque waters of Bodega Bay, California. Pelicans, cormorants and seagulls frequent the area in large numbers. This view is looking west across the bay as the sun has almost set.

This print is from an original oil painting by California artist Tom Rissacher and is created by Tom at his studio in Sonoma County, California. The canvas print is mounted on wood stretchers and features the gallery wrap meaning that the color wraps around the sides so it can be enjoyed with or without a frame. The finished print is carefully hand textured by the artist to create realistic brushstrokes. This process makes it look more like an oil painting than a print. We use only pigment based archival inks which provide decades of truly vibrant color. Each print is wired and ready to hang.
