Copper has a intriguing malleability underneath my fingers as I work with it. It will mold like butter to my every whim, yet remains solid in its metal state. The very organic and earthy coloration is quite appealing, and ever so fitting for an animalistic design.

This wide banded ring has been hand formed, soldered, hand drawn and etched, oxidized, and polished to a deep bronze finish. It is battered and rough, there are imperfections due to etching and soldering, yet this is desireable as part of the beauty of the design. Buffed on the outside with a protectant wax finish that is absorbed into the metal, the patina is protected for years to come. With normal wearing on the finger, the oxidization will fade, as well as darken again over the years, and create it's own finish, unique to the wearer.
