This is a sewing pattern - not a finished product. The pattern and instructions will be e-mailed to you after you purchase. You can print this pattern on your own printer. Please allow 24 hours. Purchases made on Saturday and Sunday will be sent on Monday.

Leather garments are expensive to purchase and unfortunately, they become outdated. This pattern is designed to recycle these garments into beautiful baby shoes. Take a trip to any thrift shop and you're likely to find a wide array of color choices. Whether you're sewing for a gift, or for your baby girl, one pair won't be enough.

This pattern includes 5 sizes from 0-18 months

The materials list is:
-lightweight to medium weight leather for upper
-lightweight to medium weight leather or suede for lining (you can use the same material for upper and lining)
-basting spray
-1/2 yard of 1/4" elastic
-size #16 or #20 snaps (I recommend Snapsource brand for their longer prong)
-clear tape
-template plastic-used to transfer patters onto
-butcher paper-used to catch basting overspray also as sewing stabilizer
-heavy thread

Tools list:
-sewing machine with leather needle
-cutting mat and rotary cutter

What a super cute pattern. I haven't used it yet but have looked it over and it looks super simple to complete. I have had a lot of leather scraps that I purchased here and on Amazon for another project. Now I will be making my granddaughter some super cute shoes.

I have had a scrap of leather for years that belonged to my husband's grandfather. Its deer leather and its leftover from a jacket he had made for himself. I have often wished I had a pattern for it and I was so excited when I found your pattern!!! My daughter is expecting my first grandchild and I will use that leather to make these shoes for her!!!! I love that is was instant download and I received it immediately!!! Thanks for such a lovely pattern!!! Even though I haven't made it yet the instructions are clear and it looks like it will be easy! Thanks so much for wonderful service!!!!

I love this pattern! It's relatively easy to follow and works up well in soft leather. My daughter wants them in every size for my granddaughter!!
