This Game Pad Quilt Block pattern can be used to make a bag (as shown in the photo), an awesome cushion cover or even a quilt using multiple blocks. The pattern appeals to both genders. I have two sons and a daughter and have generally found it is harder to find patterns that will please my boys. I have made items from this pattern for all my children and they equally love them! Your color choices and fabric for the screen unit can make this a truly unique gift, for little and big people alike. The possibilities are endless!

The instructions are for the quilt block only. The pattern does not include instructions to make the bag. Basic instructions for FPP are not included. There are plenty of tutorials online to get you started.

This instant download pattern comes with instructions to make two sizes.

Large Size: Approx. 6” x 14” (unfinished) excluding borders
Small Size: Approx. 6” x 12” (unfinished) excluding borders

There are two options for the curved segments within the pattern. The first option uses curved piecing. There are step by step instructions with color photographs. I promise it is not as hard as it sounds! Nervous about sewing curves? No worries! I have also included a foundation paper pieced corner option as an alternative for those who would prefer this method.

Clear pattern with 2 size and 2 corner options. The screen block for the large version is not on a letter size page in the PDF. It could not be printed at 100% so we had to find a way to crop it before the inch line would measure an inch. Trickier than it should be but not impossible to fix.
