Frankoma Democratic Donkey Mug ~ 2000

Gorgeous, beautiful glazed peach.

Each one measures 4" tall by 5.5" muzzle to tail by 3" wide.
Marked on the base

All of Frankoma's political mugs use the darker, reddish Sepulpa clay.
The original Elephant Mug was created for the National Republican Womens Club in 1968.
The Donkey Mugs, designed by Joniece Frank, did not show up until 1975, a few years after the death of founder (a Republican) John Frank.

In excellent condition, mug has no chips, cracks, fleabites, or repairs.
