Reclaimed Pine Harvest Basket: Washable Produce Storage

A great way to harvest home grown produce! Or produce from the farmers market.

The great thing about it is that before you bring it in the house to prepare you can quickly wash and hose it down whilst still being in the basket!

Please note - personalisation tab is only open so I can get a mobile number for the courier. If you really need your item personalising then this can be done for an extra cost, but everything is done by hand, this can take a bit longer and will have a hand finish.
It great for being used to store and display food.

Also hung from a ceiling in a shed, pantry or kitchen its a great way of leaving things like onions to dry off whilst being our the way of pests. I often use mine to dry peas and beans that I am saving for seed or for winter stews.

The sides and handle are built out of reclaimed pine, so they sometimes have stamps, marks and holes, adding to the look of this basket.

The base is made from 6mm (1/4") mesh.

The wood is treated with a coat of boiled linseed oil.

It measures 23cm (9") wide by 30cm (12") high by 50cm long (20").

All sizes are approximate and do vary due to the reclaimed wood used.

The mesh bottom is strong enough for everyday use, but can obviously be dented if misused (although easy to bend straight again). I have three of these baskets I've been using for around 4 years now and they all still look perfect.

Each tray is handmade to order in my workshop at the foot of the Malvern Hills.
