2 elegant eggcup and 2 5" saucers by Wedgwood in the beautiful Edme pattern. It features ribbed rim and embossed laurel leaves all in a beautiful ivory white color. One of the eggcups has a beautiful flower pattern painted on it.
Marked "Wedgwood - Edme - Made in England" on bottom.
Manufactured in 1937 based on the year mark indicated underneath the saucers (http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/w/wedgwood-date.html)
I am selling two eggcups sets in very good vintage condition. Still shiny. No cracks or repairs. Crazing all over, consistant with its age, but not really detracting. One saucer has almost no crazing. I give you for free a eggcup with a tiny tiny fleabite on its foot and a saucer with a crack in case it would be useful to you.
Saucer: 5" in diameter
Eggcup: 2 3/8" tall, 1 7/8" in diameter
0.47 Kg before packaging.
We personally inspect each piece. There may be some light wear and manufacturing imperfections. If there are any noticeable problems or issues such chips, cracks or excessive wear they will be clearly described above.
