The T-Rex dino (23 cm/ 10 inch) on the photo has been made with catania yarn and a 2.5 4/0 size hook.
If you use thicker yarn and a bigger hook your dinosaur will turn out bigger.
You can use any yarn (that not stretch) for this pattern.

Turned out good but I wish there were clearer pictures on how to sew on the legs and how much they should be stuffed etc. I eventually figured it out and am happy w the end product tho! Def a more challenging piece.

The pattern was easy to follow but I had to modify the teeth, maybe my yarn was a weird size or something. The teeth needed to be bigger and I had to make more to fit the mouth. The snout didn't come out the same as the picture and I am not sure why that happened. Placement of the toes onto the feet was a bit of a challenge too. My stuffy doesn't quite stand up, but my child still loves the toy. Took me around 10-15 hours to finish. It is quite the elaborate project compared to other ones I've done which were simpler. In general I'm happy with the outcome.
