I love this sourdough kit. It was well packaged so the crock would not bread. What a pretty crock to put my sourdough starter in, so well made and simply decorated but pretty enough to be displayed on the countertop. Also inside was a recipe book that also had some info on how the sourdough was made back in the 1800’s—very informative. A package of dehydrated sourdough starter with rehydrating instructions was enclosed, a small container of Birch syrup (yum) and a wooden spoon, which I will put to good use. I was using a 3/4”wooden dowel but the spoon will work better. This is a great gift for anyone who wants to learn about sourdough. I contacted the seller with a question and she promptly replied.

Exactly like the picture, the recipe book has a lot that I look forward to making. The crock is very well made and the moose design is wonderful. I love this!
