This pattern is for a Flat Bottom Drawstring Backpack size 11” x 18” x 4”. It’s made with mesh and nylon material which makes it perfect for the beach or day at the pool! You could also use whatever fabric you prefer. It has an exterior pocket for incidentals and that all important essential drink cup holder!!!

This is a Beginner pattern that anyone could make. From start to finish it takes under a couple of hours to make! There are 2 options: 1 with an open pocket for beginner sewers and 1 with a zipper pocket for intermediate sewers, but with the detailed instructions and pictures – a beginner can sew the zipper option as well.

The issue I have with the kids drawstring pattern and the swim one is that they could have sold them together as a pattern. When looking for a swim bag pattern I bought both only to find out they were the same. One had a smaller size and a larger size. So I ended up really with two identical oatterns
