Plus, the filters make it incredibly easy to transport grounds to your compost container, rinse the filter, and brew another batch of coffee ... because {we know} many days just need that second brew ;)

Each reusable filter is made with 100% GOTS certified organic cotton muslin and is serged for a professional and durable finish.

TYPE + QUANTITY
Our reusable coffee filter is technically a cone-shaped filter and sits easily in cone or basket coffee makers (sample photo is in basket maker), is perfect for machine or pour-over coffee, and is easy to remove and care for. I prefer this over a circular style typically used for baskets, which is a bit messier to get out. The filter is based on Size #4, which fits 8-12 cup makers. However, the cloth easily folds down to accommodate a variety of sizes. If you need a different size, feel free to message me.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Boil water and place your filter(s) in before the first use to sterilize and reduce any foreign fibers from the sewing process. Hang dry, and you're ready to brew! No need to boil between every use (a good, warm rinse will do the trick!).
After use, it helps to hand wash soon after using to reduce staining. Coffee will add natural staining (which some love!). I'd recommend washing only with water (no detergent/soap) to eliminate the chance that you may not wash out all soap and could taste it in your fresh brew.
Care, then, is simple: wash with water and hang/lay to dry (machine tumble if desired)!

This is the second one of these I have. I just had to have two so I could make two pots of coffee at the same time when friends come over. I love these filters and they clean so easily but I just wanted two of them because they are so amazing! Quality is awesome and these are the first filters I’ve used that I haven’t been able to taste with the coffee. I always seem to get an aftertaste with most filters so these are such a blessing! If you have any pot that will use these filters, you should definitely try them!

These filters are awesome! They do an amazing job without leaving any taste to the coffee. For some reason I can taste most filers I’ve tried and I hate the aftertaste they leave behind but these work so well and have no taste I’ve been able to tell yet. They are so well made and easy to clean. I ordered two I I could make two pots back to back before having to rinse them out in case I have people over. And they fit both my larger and smaller pore over pots!

I've been using the cloth coffee filter for days now and I love it. No effect on taste other than to perhaps assure no 'filter' taste gets into it. A quick boil before my first use helped to guarantee there was no debris left behind, and it's so easy to empty and rinse afterwards that I don't think I'll ever go back to a standard coffee filter. It's sewed well and I haven't gotten any grounds come through whatsoever. Would absolutely recommend for anybody looking to reduce waste or remove the paper filter taste that can sometimes come through.
